To me, creating theatre is about wearing as many hats as possible, and endeavoring to aid in every part of the process possible. To that end, I have worked as an actor, set designer, costume designer, stage manager, props manager, master carpenter, electrician, board operator, house manager, run crew chief, dance captain, scenic painter, director, and just that guy you call when everything's gone pear-shaped and the show opens tomorrow. I have learned so much since I moved to Baltimore in 2007 - most importantly that having the degree is nice, but it's what you do with it that counts. I have a BFA in Acting and a BA in Set and Costume Design from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, which is a program that has turned out some of the best theatre artists I know.
